I was so close to giving up on my blog this year. It seemed like a nice easy break to end after 2014 and never look back, but eh, I always enjoy coming back to look at old posts so it's kind of hard to completely walk away. So for now I'll try and keep this thing alive for a little while longer.
And while I'm running out of steam on my blog, I'm still keeping up with Project Life for the 5th straight year so here's a look at some of my favorite PL pictures for January.
Tyler got some Lego Mindstorm idea and programming books for Christmas so he's been busy all month making and programming different robots. The one in the picture is the first of many that he built. My favorites were the dinosaur, guitar and race car.
Max also likes helping Tyler with his robots....or more like steal his pieces and twirl them in his beak.
Tyler also got a crystal growing kit for Christmas that he's been working with and as you can see it came with the most stylish pair of safety goggles. Every time I see them, it reminds me of Batman and Robin. Kyle also wanted to have a pair, but the kit only came with one so he decided to use some 3D glasses instead. His view of the crystals must be really far out!
Earlier this week Tyler earned another prize for his good behavior in school. It's the computer version of Minecraft, which supposedly has different "MODS" than the PlayStation version that he already has. Something like that....I don't know.
"Mom, It's snowflaking!!", Kyle exclaimed on our one and only day of snow so far this season.

Tyler and I watching the NFC championship game the other weekend. The funny part is that Tyler of all people was trying to explain to me how the point system works in football. How does he know how much touchdowns and field goals are worth?!
I got this Cathe mug from Zazzle earlier this month and I'm in love. I was able to customize it so that the inside color is a turquoise blue. ♥♥ What you do to one side, you do to the other. 15 bicep curls on the right. Switch. 15 bicep curls on the left. Repeat.
